This training series is designed to help promote a general understanding of banking systems, money, deposit and loan products and other key topics that employees at a financial institution should be familiar with. In partnership with over 20 state banking associations, the MBA is offering the popular, 8-part course, Understanding Bank Performance. Registrants will learn to assess and analyze a bank’s financial performance by working with data from real institutions. The following sessions are featured:
The Banking Industry
A four week course offered by ABA Training, The Banking Industry is an essential introduction to the business of banking. The course covers the evolution of banking since the 2008 financial crisis, the role of banks in the U.S. economy, and the environment in which banks operate and compete. It provides a look into various banking career tracks to inspire and prepare and motivate new bankers and covers innovations in financial products.
