BankPAC Materials

Thank you for your interest in supporting Maryland BankPAC!
The materials provided below are meant to help you conduct solicitation campaigns within your banks. Maryland BankPAC will NOT contact your employees directly seeking contributions. If you need additional assistance, or if you would like to provide feedback on the materials below, please contact MBA.
Before reviewing and utilizing these Maryland BankPAC Campaign Materials, please make sure you have completed a Maryland BankPAC Prior Authorization Form.
NOTE: If you have already authorized solicitations for another federal political action committee, you can still support Maryland BankPAC! Please contact MBA for additional information.
Corporate contributions are the most efficient and straightforward way to support Maryland BankPAC. They not only strengthen the industry’s voice in the political arena but also demonstrate a proactive commitment to shaping the policy environment in which Maryland banks operate. Corporate contributions are accepted via check.
NOTE: Banks with a federal charter may not make corporate contributions in connection with any election and thus may not make a corporate contribution to Maryland BankPAC. However, a holding company or other affiliate of a bank with a federal charter may make corporate contributions to Maryland BankPAC as long as the contribution is made from funds other than those resulting from the operation of the bank.
Personal contributions signal a strong individual commitment to the Association’s advocacy efforts and help build a broad base of grassroots support. Every contribution, regardless of size, signals shared values and a collective desire to influence positive change through political advocacy. You can contribute via check or credit card.
Offering the convenience of contributing to Maryland BankPAC via payroll deduction increases participation, builds consistent funding, and again demonstrates personal commitment to our advocacy efforts without making the difficult ask for a larger contribution. Payroll deductions can be sent either via ACH or check.
