Education is among the Maryland Bankers Association’s greatest responsibilities. Banks and bankers must continually seek new information and learn new skills to compete in a changing world and to improve their productivity in the workplace to succeed.
Our educational offerings are available in a variety of formats to make training as convenient, timely, and cost-effective as possible.
Conferences, Seminars and Schools
MBA member banks have access to conferences, seminars and schools with content to promote the strength and success of Maryland banks and bankers.
Smith Banking Fellows Program
The Maryland Bankers Association and the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business have joined together to create the Smith Banking Fellows Program; an initiative focused on developing future banking professionals.
Partners in Training
The MBA has formed partnerships with a group of reputable online training providers to bring members a wide variety of self-paced, instructor-led video training for every function area, allowing bankers to have access to training delivered on their schedule.
Sponsorship Opportunities
MBA currently offers affordable sponsorship opportunities for most of its larger member events. These are a great way for you to become involved and receive exposure for your company.
