MBA Celebrates Maryland Banking School Class of 2025
- August 8, 2025
The Maryland Bankers Association (MBA) is proud to announce that 23 banking professionals graduated on August 8 during the 50th Maryland Banking School commencement in College Park, Maryland.
Founded in 1975, Maryland Banking School is MBA’s flagship educational program, designed to strengthen the leadership pipeline across Maryland’s banking industry. The three-year program offers a deep dive into the forces shaping the financial services landscape, while sharpening each student’s leadership, managerial, and technical capabilities. A hallmark of the experience is the capstone bank simulation, BankExec, where students manage a virtual financial institution in real time.
MBA President & CEO Tisha Edwards, MSW, JD, remarked: “Congratulations to the Class of 2025 for completing one of the most rigorous and rewarding leadership development experiences. These graduates demonstrated perseverance, creativity, and a strong commitment to the future of banking. Their achievements reflect the caliber of talent within Maryland’s financial institutions, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they’ll continue to make across the industry.”
