Founded in 1896, the mission of the Maryland Bankers Association is to promote the competitiveness of the Maryland banking industry. As the only Maryland-based trade group serving the banking industry, the MBA achieves its mission as an advocate for the industry, as a provider of banker and consumer education, as a public relations voice for the industry and as a provider of member services.
