Membership in the MBA is open to financial institutions, with the exception of credit unions, and to vendors serving the banking industry. Firms interested in joining the MBA should complete an application for membership and forward it to the Association's Corporate Secretary Cindy Gentilcore (443-837-1602) accompanied by a cover letter and a copy of the company's most recent financial statement or annual report (this is not required for Associate Members). Applications are reviewed and approved by the MBA's Board of Directors.

New members are assigned to one of three membership categories: Charter, Associate Financial and Associate.
