Improving financial literacy skills is important to the banking industry.
Bankers are uniquely positioned to share important money mangement skills with their customers and the community at large.  The Internet links, products and organizations are provided to help bankers and consumers build awareness and knowledge of these skills among  children, young adults, adults and seniors.

In 2007, Maryland bankers conducted 261 consumer education presentations, reaching over 14,250 residents of all ages.

For more information about the financial literacy resources, please contact the MBA's Alison Tavik or follow the web links provided.
